Borusan Pipe has more than 65 years of experience in pipe manufacturing. Home to more than 2,800 employees, the steel pipe company manufactures more than 4,000 product varieties globally to meet the needs of the automotive, construction, machinery production and energy industries. Borusan Pipe has eleven facilities spanning three continents and a combined 2 million ton annual production capacity.
To better serve the North American energy market, Borusan built a state-of-the-art, 145-acre steel pipe factory in Baytown, Texas, in 2014. Strategically positioned in the heart of Houston’s oil and gas industry, our facility is outfitted with “best in class” equipment and technology that ensures our pipe meets the highest standards. However, our true hallmark is our people. We work with the best customers, suppliers and employees in the business, safely producing each order to the customer’s exacting requirements, with the flexibility to respond to changes.

Borusan and Salzgitter Mannesmann partnership was formed.
2001
Vobarno, Italy cold drawn mill was acquired.
2009
Borusan-owned Gemlik, Turkey port expansion completed.
2011
Gemlik large diameter HSAW mill commissioned.
2014
Baytown, Texas USA ERW mill commissioned.

Semi-premium connections offered from Baytown.
2016
BMP Baytown named “Tube and Pipe Producer of the Year” by AMM.
2017

2019
Europe’s single fully automated production and surface preparation line Gemlik Automotive Tubes Plant produces cold-drawn special tubes for the demands of the OEM and the automotive supplier industry in Turkey and Europe.
2020
Borusan Mannesmann Pipe US; For the third time, was awarded the “Tube & Pipe Producer of the Year” award at the “Steel Excellence Awards”, which we won in 2016 and 2017, given by the American Metal Market, one of the most prestigious and independent publications of the US steel industry.
2023
Borusan Mannesmann has acquired Berg Pipe, which produces at the highest quality and largest capacity in the USA, as a part of the strategy to become a local player in global markets.
